Who We Are

Out Driving is a modern driver’s education, media, and automotive journal operated by Long Way Home, LLC. We provide self-paced online driver education while creating stories, ideas, and resources that inspire people to explore farther and experience more of the world with confidence.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Services. It does not apply to information collected by third-party websites, services, or platforms that we do not own or control, even if we link to them.

  • Payment information when you purchase a course. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor [Stripe]; we do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

Children's and Minors' Privacy

Our Services are intended for driver education students aged 13 or older and for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete it.

For students between 13 and 17, we require that a parent or guardian review this Privacy Policy and be involved in the enrollment process. A parent or guardian may review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their minor's personal information by contacting us. We use minors' personal information only to provide the driver education Services and as otherwise described in this policy.

Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services (for example, DMV resources or partner content) that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with any information.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, our Services do not currently respond to them. We will treat recognized opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law.

The Services are intended for users in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
